As shown in the table below, the NEODOL* alcohols are named based on the number of carbon atoms contained in the product. For example, NEODOL 91 is a blend of C9, C10 and C11 alcohols.

For the NEODOL ethoxylates, the description of the parent alcohol is retained, e.g. NEODOL 91, and is followed by a number indicating the average moles of ethylene oxide (EO) added.

NEODOL 79

NEODOL 79 is a blend of C7, C8, and C9 high purity primary alcohols manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications but it is primarily used for the manufacture of lube oils, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates.


NEODOL 91

NEODOL 91 is a blend of C9, C10, and C11 high purity primary alcohols manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications but it is primarily used for the manufacture of lube oils, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates.


NEODOL 1

NEODOL 1 is a high purity C11 primary alcohol manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications. It is primarily used for the manufacture of lube oils, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates.


NEODOL 23

NEODOL 23 is a blend of C12, and C13 high purity primary alcohols manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications which includes the manufacture of lube oils, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates.


NEODOL 25

NEODOL 25 is a blend of C12, C13, C14 and C15 high purity primary alcohols manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications but it is primarily used for the manufacture of lube oils, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates.


NEODOL 135

NEODOL 135 is a blend of C11, C13, and C15 high purity primary alcohols manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications but it is primarily used for the manufacture of alcohol sulfates, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates. The sulfates of NEODOL 135 are highly suited for use in household laundry detergents.


NEODOL 45

NEODOL 45 is a blend of C14 and C15 high purity primary alcohols manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications but it is primarily used for the manufacture of lube oils, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates.


NEODOL 67

NEODOL 67 is a C16 and C17 high purity primary alcohol manufactured using the Shell Hydroformylation (SHF) process. It can be used in a variety of applications which includes lube oils, alcohol ethoxylates and alcohol ethoxysulfates.


NEODOL 91-2.5

NEODOL 91-2.5 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C9-C11 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 2.5 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 91-5

NEODOL 91-5 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C9-C11 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 5 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 91-6

NEODOL 91-6 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C9-C11 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 6 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 91-8

NEODOL 91-8 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C9-C11 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 8 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 1-9

NEODOL 1-9 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C11 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 9 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 23-1

NEODOL 23-1 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C12-C13 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 1 mole of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 23-2

NEODOL 23-3

NEODOL 23-6.5

NEODOL 23-6.5 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C12-C13 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 6.5 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 25-1.3

NEODOL 25-1.3 is based on Shell Chemicals? high purity C12-C15 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 1.3 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 25-2.5

NEODOL 25-2.5 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C12-C15 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 2.5 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 25-3

NEODOL 25-3 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C12-C15 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 3 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 25-5

NEODOL 25-5 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C12-C15 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 5 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.

NEODOL 45-6.8

NEODOL 45-6.8 is based on Shell Chemicals' high purity C14-C15 NEODOL alcohol with an average of approximately 6.8 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol.


NEODOL 45-7
