Here is a selection of questions and answers on this topic. Click the button at the bottom of this page if you would like to ask a further question.

Q.  Do you transport most of your chemicals products by road?

A. Shell chemicals products are transported by ship, road, rail and barge. Ship transport accounts for the largest volume - more than 17 million tonnes of our chemicals are moved by sea each year, worldwide. Rail is very important in the Americas while road transport is more suited to the infrastructure in Europe.

Q.  Where can I apply for a job with you as a driver?

A. Shell Chemicals do not employ drivers directly, but work with independent haulage companies who move chemicals products for us. If you would like to work for one of those companies, write to us via the 'contact us' facility on this site and we will forward your details on to the haulier that services Shell Chemicals in your area.
