Navigating this website
This site has been designed for ease of use. The top of the page contains links to the Shell Directory, Shell.com, help, a sitemap, contact information and the search engine facility. Below this, the page splits into 3 areas:
- The left-hand navigation contains a menu that changes to reflect the various sections as you browse through the website
- The content area in the middle of the page is where you'll find the text content of the page you have browsed to
- The right-hand navigation area contains links and features related to the current website. It is not necessarily present on all our web pages. Links within "see related websites" which lead you to external websites will open in a new browser window.
At the bottom of the page you will find the footer with Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Glossary & Trademark information as well as the Copyright statement.

When will new windows open?
External links and PDF files open in a new browser window when clicked and allow you to switch between www.shell.com/chemicals and the newly opened window. The 'printable version' link also opens in a new window in order to display content in a printable format.
Using Adobe PDF files
All PDF files open in a new window and must be displayed with the Acrobat Reader, Download Adobe Acrobat Reader (opens in a new window). If you have difficulties viewing any of the PDF files here please contact us.
