Product stewardship

Product Stewardship is our commitment to make health, safety and environmental protection an integral part of our business.

Our ethylene glycol product stewardship programme includes training for our customers on the hazards, safe handling, transport and unloading of ethylene glycol. We believe that working together with our customers on ethylene glycol product stewardship is a high priority.

This programme isn't merely about customer service. It's about customer commitment and expectations.

Who should I contact in the event of a chemical spill or other transportation incident in the US?

You should call The Chemical Transportation Emergency Center ("CHEMTREC") at 1-800-424-9300. As a public service sponsored by the American Chemistry Council and its members, CHEMTREC will provide immediate assistance for an incident and, for Shell products, will notify Shell's Emergency Response Center to activate our response system.
