Plans for a new integrated petrochemical facility in Singapore, representing the Shell Group’s largest ever chemical investment in the country, are moving closer to realisation. On 22 March the first piles were driven into the ground on both Pulau Bukom and Jurong Island.
The completed facility will include a new world-scale ethylene cracker and what may be the world’s largest mono-ethylene glycol plant.
